The Hythe & District Pioneer Homes Advisory Committee is a housing management body that manages 86 unit supportive living facility, 32 seniors self contained units, 8 affordable housing units for low to moderate income families and there is a new 48 unit SL4D memory care project that has a planned completion date of October 2017.

The Pioneer Homes has a campus of care philosophy and because of this care and housing are accommodated across a wide spectrum. The medical clinic has three physicians and there is a pharmacy -both of which; are attached to the 86 unit Hythe Pioneer Home.

Hythe also has a continuing care center run by Alberta Health Services that is on the campus of care site location.
