ASCHA wants your experience using the online Alberta Seniors Housing Directory to be a positive one. We respect the privacy of the housing providers who post listings on this site, their clients, and those who use this service. We have ensured that there are systems in place for securely managing your Personal Information. We want you to be aware of the information that is collected, how we use and disclose it, what your options are, and how we are safeguarding this information. “Personal Information” is any information in part or in combination that can be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number.
“The Service” is any component, activity, usage, or provision available on the Housing Directory.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We collect Personal Information when you:
- Register to use the online directory
- Process any transactions
- Verify ASCHA membership
- Use the directory
- Communicate with us

By using The Service, submitting a registration or registering as a user, you authorize ASCHA to gather, parse, retain, use, and disclose information to provide the service you have indicated through your online registration, unless we are notified otherwise.
Registration. To post listings on The Service you may need to provide Personal Information, such as your name, company name, email address, and password. You may also provide other optional information.
Using the Service. We collect information you post through the Service. For example, when individuals sign in, post a photograph, or connect with a company listed on the site, the directory will collect the information in such submissions, including any Personal Information.
Making Payments. When you make payment, your financial account information, such as your credit card number, will be collected by our third-party payment processors. We do not collect or store such financial account information, but we may receive information from our payment processor about the payment, such as the date and time of payment.

You acknowledge that ASCHA is located in Alberta, Canada and, accordingly, your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in Canada and that the Canadian government, courts, or law enforcement may be able to obtain your information through Canadian law.
