Acceptance Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Independent; Must be 65+ years of age to apply; Must have lived the past year in one of the contributing municipalities (Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Wabamun, Parkland County);
a current Medical Exam Report.

Application Procedure

All applications will be scored according to need, and priority will be given to those in greatest need of Lodge accommodation. A point scoring tool has been provided by Alberta Seniors that will determine placement on the waiting list.

The Foundation participates in the Medication Assistance Program (MAP) in cooperation with Home Care and local pharmacists. The details of the program are available from the Home Care nurse. There is no charge for participation in the program.

Services are provided to Lodge Residents includes weekly housekeeping, annual major room cleaning, emergency resident pendants and night checks.

Optional services for a fee include: parking, personal laundry, air-conditioning (unit must be provided by resident)
