Applicants must be 60 years or older and able to live independently. Income must be within the Core Need Income Threshold (CNIT) established by the Government of Alberta. For a one-bedroom in 2021 the threshold is $41,000/year.
An application form must be completed; including accompanying medical form filled out and signed by a physician. Applicants must include a current income tax Notice of Assessment to verify income. Applicants will be interviewed as part of the approval process upon which time the accompanying Commissioner of Oath form will be completed by Vista.
