Description

The Newbrook Lodge is a 148 suite Supportive Living facility in the Community of Brooks, operated by the Newell Housing Foundation.  Our Foundation is a Housing Management body made up of representatives from the City of Brooks, County of Newell, Town of Bassano, Villages of Duchess and Rosemary, as well as two members at large.

Acceptance Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

- Must be 65 years or older
- Must have Canadian citizenship status
- Must be functionally independent
-able to manage personal care and hygiene
-able to manage daily activities in day to day life
- Must be suitable for lodge living environment
- Must be medically stable, able bodied and cognitively aware
- Must be able to meet and agree to tenancy terms of agreement
- Must benefit from supportive housing environment

Application Procedure

- Set appointment for interview with the Lodge Manager
- Must meet the criteria as listed above
- Applicant will be placed on Priority List
- Applicant will be notified when a suitable suite is available
