Fort Lions Haven is a two-story apartment building with 20 one-bedroom apartments (550 square feet). Constructed by the Lions Club of Fort Saskatchewan, this building is provincially owned and provides affordable housing options to seniors 65 years of age or older who are active and enjoy their independence. It is within walking distance of Fort Saskatchewan’s downtown business core which includes the library and civic center, banks, churches, a major grocery store, and a city park.

Acceptance Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

• 65 years of age or older
• Canadian Citizen or landed immigrant
• Functionally independent OR • Functionally independent with the assistance of community-based services (e.g. home care)

Application Procedure

1. Fill out the application form (please include income verification!)
2. Completed applications can be emailed, mailed, or dropped off at the office of Dr. Turner Lodge.
3. Staff will be in contact to schedule an interview. An independent living assessment completed by your physician may be requested after the interview at the manager's discretion.
