Dr. T.W.E. Henry House is a four-story apartment building with 32 one-bedroom apartments (520 square feet). The apartment building was built in 1984, is provincially owned, and provides affordable housing options to seniors 65 years of age or older who are active and enjoy their independence. The apartment building is located next to Fort Saskatchewan’s Pioneer House, a gathering place for adults 50 years and older. Pioneer House provides a wide variety of leisure activities and is a very popular place for tenants of the apartment who enjoy getting out and being involved in their community. It is within walking distance of Fort Saskatchewan’s downtown business core which includes the library and civic center, banks, churches, a major grocery store, and a city park.

• 65 years of age or older
• Canadian Citizen or landed immigrant
• Functionally independent OR • Functionally independent with the assistance of community-based services (e.g. home care)
1. Fill out the application form.
2. Completed applications can be emailed, mailed, or dropped off at the Dr. Turner Lodge office.
3. Staff will be in contact to schedule an interview. An independent living assessment completed by your physician may be requested after the interview at the manager's discretion.
